AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ARTICLE III; SECTION 2, PARAGRAPH B, OF
ORDINANCE HO. 1258, AS AMENDED, TO ALLOW ADDITIONAL SPECIAL
PERMIT USE CATEGORIES IN C-1 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS -
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
MHEREAS, after public hearing upon due notice and
publication, pursuant to Article IX Sections 5, 6, and 7 of the
zoning regulations adopted by Ordinance 1258, as amended, the
Planning Commission has approved and recommended for adoption the
proposed amendment to the zoning regulations adopted by Ordinance
1258, as amended, to allow Special Permit Use Categories in C-1
General Commercial Districts.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Article III, Section 2 tB) of the zoning
regulations adopted by Ordinance 1258, as amended, is hereby
amended to add the following Special Permit Use Categories in C-1
Districts by Special Use Permits:
Permitted Uses
Monument Sales
Nursery, plants, and stock,
outdoor retail sales
Plumbing, electrical, air
conditioning, and heating
shop
School, Commercial or Trade
Warehousing, inside storage only
Wholesale establishment
Zoning District
O-1 C-1 C-2

SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
