AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE 1988, AS
AMENDED, IN REGARDS TO PERMITTED USES IN A C-2,
COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS, ARTICLE III, SECTION 2,
PARAGRAPH B, NUMBER(2) INDUSTRIAL USES PERMITTER IN
A C-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, AND PARAGRAPH C, LOT, YARD
AND HEIGHT REGULATIONS, FOOTNOTE (b), AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, after a public hearing upon due notice and publication, pursuant to
regulations adopted by Ordinance 1988, as amended, a public hearing was held on April
25, 2012 and the Planning Commission has approved and recommended to amend the
West Memphis Zoning Ordinance Article III; Section 2, Paragraph B, Number(2),
Industrial Uses Permitted in a C-2, Commercial District and Paragraph C, Lot, Yard and
Height Regulations, Footnote (b), as follows:
B. PERMITTED USES
(2) INDUSTRIAL USES PERMITTED: 0-1 C-1 C -1-F C-2
Light fabrication and Assembly, (Subj.to
Footnote#(b) X
C. LOT, YARD AND HEIGHT REGULATIONS
Footnote: (b.)No outside display or storage will be allowed for Industrial
uses in the Commercial District.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: Zoning Ordinance 1988, as amended, Article III; Section 2,
Paragraph B,Number(2), Industrial Uses Permitted in a C-2, Commercial District and
Paragraph C, Lot, Yard and Height Regulations, Footnote (b), is hereby amended.
SECTION 2: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
