0580 RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, W. K. "Bill' Ingram is the esteemed Senator from our
district, and
WHEREAS, said notable Senator was elected President Pro Tempore
of the Arkansas Senate, and
WHEREAS, it has come to our attention that the Governor of the
State of Arkansas and the Lieutenant Governor of the State
of Arkansas will be in Washington D. C. attending the
Inauguration of President Carter, and
WHEREAS, the duties of Governor befall the President Pro Tern
of the Senate when the Governor and Lieutenant Governor
are both absent from their offices, and
WHEREAS, we have been advised that Senator Ingram will be serving
as Governor of the State of Arkansas from Wednesday afternoon,
January 19 through Friday, January 21, 1977
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, That our sincere congratulations
be and hereby are extended to our own Senator
W. K. "Bill" Ingram from West Memphis,
Arkansas.
