0586 RESOLUTION NO. 586
WHEREAS, The Arkansas State Highway Department has contacted
the West Memphis Chamber of Commerce in regard to
making Highway 70 four lanes from Avalon to Airport
Road, and
WHEREAS, The City Council of West Memphis wishes to make this
request of the Highway Department,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the West Memphis City
Council go on record requesting the Arkansas State Highway
Department to make Highway 70 four lanes from Avalon
to Airport Road, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the West Memphis City Council
wishes to go on record as commending both the Arkansas
State Highway Department and the West Memphis Chamber
of Commerce in this constructive undertaking.
