RESOLUTION NO. 608
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT "BUSINESS
DISTRICT SIGNS" BE CONSTRUCTED ON THE
INTERSTATE HIGHWAY AT THE WEST MEMPHIS
EXITS ON THE WEST AND NORTH ENDS OF TOWN
it WHEREAS It has been found desirable by the West Memphis
Lire City Council to assist in the promotion of business
for our town, and
WHEREAS, It is in the best interest for the Town of West
Memphis, Arkansas, to be brought to the attention of
the motorists on the Interstate Highway, and
WHEREAS, It is the responsibility of the Arkansas Highway
Department to construct signs on Interstate Highways,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas, that a request be sent
to the Arkansas Highway Department for signs to be
Lconstructed at the west and northwest exits on the west
and north ends of town, designating "West Memphis
Business District. '
