0636 RESOLUTION NO. ‘ 8 4
WHEREAS, Floyd Franklin has served faithfully and dil-
igently with the West Memphis Recreation Commission for the
last seven years ; AND,
L WHEREAS, Floyd Franklin has recently made plans to
resign from the West Memphis Recreation Commission due to the
fact that he is moving from our city; AND,
WHEREAS, during the time that Floyd Franklin was a member
of the West Memphis Recreation Commission, the West Memphis
Recreation Facilities have grown and expanded whereas , we have
over a hundred teams playing some type of ball regularly; AND,
WHEREAS, the West Memphis City Council wishes to express
their appreciation for the fine work that Floyd Franklin did
while a member of the West Memphis Recreation Commission.
THEREFORE, BE IT FULLY RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS :

1. That the City Council of the City of West Memphis ,

Arkansas , wishes Floyd Franklin, success and good luck, as he
goes forward to his new objectives , and new residence, and wishes
to commend him highly for the value of serice he rendered to the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas , while a member of the West Memphis
Recreation Commission.
