AUCTION FOR BENEFIT OF
WEST MEMPHIS POLICEMEN 'S PENSION AND RELIEF FUND
WHEREAS , there has been an auction held recently of
confiscated and/or seized police property belonging to the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas ; and,
WHEREAS , the moneys obtained from the auction will
benefit the West Memphis Policemen' s Pension and Relief Fund ;
and ,
WHEREAS , the auction was held by VI AUCTION CO. ,
owned by Colonel Virgil Irwin, and represented by
Colonel Virgil Irwin and His Staff; and,
WHEREAS , the auction was most successful ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS , ARKANSAS ;
1 . That this opportunity be taken to publicly express
our sincere appreciation to COLONEL VIRGIL IRWIN and HIS STAFF
for their cooperation and successful efforts in conducting the
auction for the City of West Memphis Police Department .
2 . That a copy of this Resolution be sent to
Colonel Virgil Irwin.
