A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CHANGE ORDER TO THE
CONTRACT WITH UTILITY SERVICE FOR PAINTING A WATER
TANK FOR WEST MEMPHIS UTILITIES.
WHEREAS, Utility Services is in the process of painting a water tank for
the West
Memphis Utilities and conditions have been found that will necessitate additional work at an
additional cost of$47,000; and
WHEREAS, the West Memphis Utility Commission has considered and approved the
additional work and the proposed change order and recommended to the City Council that the
change order be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, that the attached change order to the contract
between the City of West Memphis and Utility Service in the amount of$47,000 is hereby
approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
change order on behalf of the City of West Memphis.
