AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR
THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2509 E. BROADWAY, TO
ALLOW INSIDE STORAGE IN A C-2, COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission for a
Special Use Permit, allowing inside storage in a C-2, Commercial District, as required by
Ordinance 1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on January 31, 2007 and the Planning Commission recommended that a
Special Use Permit be granted to allow inside storage in a C-2, Commercial District,
subject to the following criteria:
1. No equipment, vehicles, or materials to be stored outside the building;
2. Keep the lot cut and the structure maintained in good condition;
3. No business to be operated from the existing structure, until it meets all codes for
Commercial use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property, to wit:
Address: 2509 E. Broadway
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing inside storage in a C-2,
Commercial District, subject to the following criteria:
1. No equipment, vehicles, or materials to be stored outside the building;
2. Keep the lot cut and the structure maintained in good condition;
3. No business to be operated from the existing structure, until it meets all codes for
Commercial use.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
