2030 RESOLUTION NO. 410.30
A RESOLUTION TO ENDORSE THE KEEP WEST MEMPHIS BEAUTIFUL
AND SUPPORT ITS PARTICIPATION IN THE KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL,
INC., AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a clean and safe environment contributes to the emotional, physical and
economic well-being of the citizens of a community; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis desires to improve its environment by
contributing to the emotional, physical and economic well-being of our citizens; and
WHEREAS, Keep West Memphis Beautiful, affiliated with Keep America Beautiful, Inc.
will help improve the community environment by, "inspiring our citizens through education, to
become involved, committed and responsible for:litter prevention, waste reduction,
beautification, recycling and community greening."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS that the City of West Memphis hereby endorses KEEP WEST MEMPHIS
BEAUTIFUL, and supports its participation with Keep America Beautiful, Inc.,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of West
Memphis hereby recognizes Keep West Memphis Beautiful as an official entity in the City of
West Memphis.
