ORDINANCE N0. ~ ~ ~~
AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE beginning at the intersection at the
centerline of East Polk Street with the East line of the Northwest
Quarter, Section 18, Township 6 North, Range 9 East, (see legal below).
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission
to rezone the hereinafter described property and after notice having
been published for the time and in the manner as provided by Ordinance
No. 1258 as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission
and the Planning Commission recommended, that said application be granted;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property, to wit:
Common Address - 581 East Broadway
Beginning at the intersection at the centerline of East Polk Street
with the East Line of the Northwest Quarter, Section 18, Township 6
North, Range 9 East continuing Westward to the intersection of said
centerline extended with the West line of Lot Six (6) of the Southwide
Subdivision recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 334; North along the West
line of said Lot Six (6) to point eight (8.00) feet West of the
Southwest Corner of Lot One (1) Southwide Subdivision, thence continuing
North 78 degrees 14 minutes, 29 seconds, East 272.19 feet to a point,
thence North 11 degrees, 51 minutes, 13 seconds, West 317.24 feet to a
point, thence East along the South lines of Lots Two (2), Four (4),
and Five (5) of Southwide Subdivision to a point, thence South along
the East line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 6 North,
Range 9 East to the Point of Beginning.
(Replat of Lots One (1) and Six (6) of Southwide Subdivision)
be and the same is hereby rezoned to I-1, Limited Industrial District.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or part of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
