AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE LOT 1 BLOCK 9 THOMPSON
SECOND ADDITION, WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, an application was made to the City Planning
Commission to rezone the hereinafter described property and
after notice having been published for the time and in the
manner as provided by Ordinance No. 1258 the matter was
heard by the City Planning Commission and the Planning
Commission recommended, that said application be granted;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property, to
wit:
Address--612 Graham
Lot 1 Block 9 Thompson
Second Addition,
be and the same is hereby rezoned to 0-1 office
district.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III: EMERGENCY CLAUSE: It is found and declared
by the City Council that :this property is in the process of
development and that this ordinance is necessary for the
orderly growth and expansion of the City of West Memphis and
for the protection of the safety and welfare of the inhabi-
tants of the City of West Memphis; therfore, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from the after its passage and appro-
val.
