1411r ORDINANCE NO . ~~_L_L..~ AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PORTIONS OF SECTION 12 OF ORDINANCE 1288, TO SET NEW GARBAGE COLLBCTION FEES, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY TAE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Section 12 of Ordinance 1288, codified as Section 8.04.120 of the West Memphis Municipal Code,. is hereby amended, with respect to the following items only, to read as follows: ESTABLISHMENT MONTHLY FEE Each residence or apartment occupied by one (1) family, separate metered, separate pickup ....................................$ 8.25 Apartment buildings, central pickup, each apartment .....................................$ 6.75 SECTION 2. The additional items set out in Section 12 of Ordinance 1288 shall remain in force and effect. SECTION 3. EMERGENCY CLAUSE. It having been found and determined by the City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, that there is an urgent need to restructure the fees to be charged for collection and disposal of garbage from residences, apartments and apartment buildings, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the Citizens of West Memphis, Arkansas, shall be in full force and effect from and after fE"a~Z~AUy -, «~©. -. ~~ PASSED AND APPROVED this ~ ~ day of ~}~ , 19
