AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 8.04.210 OF THE WEST
MEMPHIS MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE THE PERCENTAGE OF
THE SUMS TO BE SET ASIDE IN A DEPRECIATION ACCOUNT AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Section 8.04.210 of the West Memphis Municipal Code, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
Ten percent (10%) of he sums collected under the provisions of this chapter shall
be set aside in a depreciation account for the sole purpose of replacing sanitation
collection vehicles and equipment to include rear loaders, front loaders, trash
trucks, recycling collection trucks, stakebed trucks, pick-up trucks, dumpsters and
carts used by the department. Any surplus funds may be used for maintenance of
the above listed items.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
