AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 425 S. 8 STREET, TO ALLOW A DAYCARE FACILITY IN A R 2,
LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission for a
Special Use Permit allowing a Daycare Facility in a R-2, Low Density Residential
District, as required by Ordinance 1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as provided
by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission on
Mazch 29, 2006 and the Planning Commission recommended that a Special Use Permit be
granted to allow a Daycaze Facility in a R-2, Low Density Residential District, subject to the
following criteria:
The pazking azea be redesigned by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit:
Street Address: 425 S. 8 Street
Legal Description: Lot 31, of Consolidation Replat of Lots 31, 32, 33,
and 34, Block 77, Kendal Subdivision
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing a Daycaze Facility in a R-2,
Low Density Residential District, subject to the following criteria:
The pazlcing area be redesigned by the City Engineer.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith aze hereby
repealed.
