A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2013 BUDGET FOR
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,the Budget Committee has recommended that the 2013 Budget for the City
of West Memphis, Arkansas, be amended to pay each employee a 3%bonus, based on the
employee's annual salary, or minimum of$1,000.00, whichever is greater, who has been a full
time employee of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, the previous 12 months; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West.Memphis, Arkansas, finds that the
recommended budget amendment is appropriate and should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT the 2013 Budget for the City of West
Memphis, Arkansas, is hereby amended to pay each qualified employee the bonus, as set out in
Exhibit A, and this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
