2044 RESOLUTION NO. .9 0419
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE OPERATION
OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS FOR THE YEAR 2014,AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, A.C.A. §14-58-202 provides that the governing body of a
municipality shall, on or before February 1 of each year, adopt a budget by ordinance or
resolution for operation of the city or town; and
WHEREAS, prior to December 1, 2013, the Mayor submitted a budget to the
City Council of the City of West Memphis and the Budget Committee recommended
approval of the budget;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS, THAT the 2014 budget for the
City of West Memphis, as submitted by the Mayor and recommended by the Budget
Committee, is hereby approved and adopted as the budget for the operation of the City
of West Memphis, Arkansas, for the year 2014.
