AN ORDINANCE TO SYAIVE COti~PETITIVE BIDDING,
ESTAIILISFIING AN EbIERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Arkansas Statute 19-4425 allows waiving of
competitive bidding in exceptional situations where such
procedure is deemed not feasible or practical; and,
W~iEREAS, there are many items necessary for the City's
use where competitive bidding is deemed not feasible or
practical;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDr1INED F3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MElrIPHIS, ARKANSAS:
1. That competitive bidding be waived for the following
item (s) to be used by the City, described as follows:
PURCHASE - 8.2 Liter - Rebuilt Engine $3,950.00
