AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE LOT 27 OF BROADWAY PARK THIRD ADDITION
AS SHOWN BY PLAT OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK 2, AT PAGE 262,
OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, AND LOT 8, BLOCK 187,
OF THE SUBDIVISION OF THE NE 1/4 OF SECTION 17, T-6-N, R-9-E,
AS SHOWN BY PLAT OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK 2 AT PAGE 279
OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning
Commission to rezone the hereinafter described property, and
after Notice having been published for the time and in the
manner as provided by Ordinance No. 1033, the matter was
heard by the City Planning Commission, and two (2) persons
appearing to protest the same, the Planning Commission
recommended that said application be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described .property,
to wit:
Lot 27 of the Broadway Park Third Addition and
Lot 8, Block 187, of the Subdivison of the
NE 1/4 of Section 17, T-6-N, R-9-E,
be and the same is hereby rezoned RMH (Residential Mobile Home).
SECTION II. That all Ordinances or Parts of Ordinance in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. EMERGENCY CLAUSE. It being found and
determined by the City Council of the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas, that this property is in the process of development
and that this Ordinance is necessary for the orderly growth
and expansion of the City of West Memphis and for the
protection of the safety and welfare of the inhabitants of
the City of West Memphis; therefore, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be 1 force
and effect from and after its passage and proval.
