AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE LOT 4, TAYLOR-HEMENWAX
SUBDIVISION, LOCATED AT THE 5'OIJTHEAST CORNER OF
MISSOURI STREET AND DOVER ROAD, WITH FRONTAGE
ON MISSOURI STREET 1,21.5 FEET, MORE OR LESS
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, application was .made to the City Planning
Commission to rezone the hereinafter described property and
after notice having been published for the time and in the
manner as provided by Ordinance No. 1033 the matter was
heard by the City Planning Commission and the Planning
Commission recommended that said application be granted; NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property, to
wit:
Lot 4, Taylor-Hemenway Subdivision, recorded in
Plat Book 3, page 150 in the office of the Ex-
Officio Recorder of Crittenden County, Arkansas,
and being a part of the property lying in the part
of Section 6, lying south of Interstate Highways
40 and 55 Right-of-Way, City of West Memphis,
Crittenden County, Arkansas; and being 101 Glen Bailey
Drive and 1399 North Missouri Street.
be and the same is hereby rezoned to B-2 General Business
District.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III: EMERGENCY CLAUSE. It is hereby found and
declared by the City Council of the City of West.Mernphis,
Arkansas, that the property above described is in the process
of development; and this ordinance is necessary for the
growth and expansion of the City of West Memphis; and that
the passage of this ordinance is in the interest of the
public health, peace, safety and welfare of the City of West
Memphis and the inhabitants thereof. Therefore, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take
